The Softchrome In-Office Tinting System makes tinting soft contact lenses quick, easy and affordable while satisfying your patient's desire for individuality. Using the recipes booklet provided with your system, choose a visibility, medium or dark tint or any intensity in between. A truly unique and custom tint can be provided by mixing 2 or more colors to create Aquamarine, Emerald Green, Honey Brown, Teal and Violet. Visi-tints or handling tints are now available for any prescription. They have proven to be a valuable asset by making the lens easier to see and handle. Torics, bi-focals and high plus or minus that may only be available in clear lens stock can now be custom tinted. Disposable lenses can be tinted at very reasonable rates. We recommend tinting no more than 4 pair at one time. Enhance and embellish any manufacturer's tinted lens. Intensify the color or add one of the theatrical designs like the Texas Star, Starburst, Flower or Cat's Eye. To change a brown eye color, select any gray-colored opaque lens as a base and apply the patient's color choice. Create custom prosthetic lenses for your patients with corneal and/or iris abnormalities. This can be rewarding for both sighted or unsighted patients. Solid pupil sizes available are 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 7mm. Using the Softchrome In-Office Tinting System is both fun and profitable.
